Hot bending

Glass hot bending is to put the cut glass on a specific mold, put into the hot bending furnace as a whole, after several stages of heating, the temperature is raised to the softening temperature of the glass, through the control of the temperature of each part of the heating furnace and the gravity of the glass itself, so that the softened glass gradually fits with the mold, so that the glass reaches the designed shape, and then gradually cools down and cools out of the oven.

The size and fit of hot-formed glass are checked by the tooling inspection tool. For locomotive front window products, the size and fit tolerance can be controlled within ±3mm.

 

Chemical tempering
